Is a dietitian covered by insurance in BC and Ontario?
In most cases, yes. While dietitian visits aren't covered by MSP in BC or OHIP in Ontario, the majority of extended health plans through your employer include coverage for Registered Dietitian services, typically between $300 and $1,000 per year.
If you have benefits through work, there's a good chance your sessions are already covered. You've been paying into that plan. This is a great way to use it.
